The Polish Poster Gallery PIGASUS was founded in Berlin in 2003. Over the years, it changed location twice before becoming a virtual gallery in June 2023. Its founder and director, Mariusz Bednarski, originally from Szczecin, has lived in Berlin since 1988. The PIGASUS collection includes around 20,000 Polish posters from the post-war era. The gallery has held an impressive number of over 80 exhibitions, both solo and thematic. PIGASUS remains active and gladly welcomes proposals for individual or thematic exhibitions presenting posters from its extensive collection.
