2. Scope of data processing

PIGASUS processes personal data provided by you when placing an order, contacting us or registering an account:

  • first name and last name,
  • home/delivery address,
  • e-mail adress,
  • Phone number.

These data are processed in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b DSGVO – for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.


3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process your personal data solely for the purpose of:

  • order fulfillment and delivery of goods,
  • payment and invoicing handling,
  • handling inquiries, complaints and returns,
  • fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. storing tax documents).

The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the conclusion and implementation of the contract.


4. Data recipients

Your data may be transferred only to the extent necessary to perform the contract:

  • courier and postal companies (for delivery purposes),
  • payment service providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe),
  • our tax or accounting advisors (within the framework of their statutory obligations).

We do not transfer your data to third countries outside the EU, unless this is necessary for payment or delivery (e.g. PayPal).


5. Data storage period

We store the data for the duration of the contract and in accordance with the obligations arising from tax and commercial law (Article 147 AO, Article 257 HGB), i.e. for a maximum of 10 years. After this period, the data is deleted or anonymized.


6. Cookies

In our online store we use so-called "session cookies", which store temporary session data (e.g. the contents of the shopping cart). They are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
We do not use cookies to create user profiles or for marketing purposes without your consent.


7. Rights of the data subject

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 DSGVO, you have the following rights:

  • the right to access data,
  • the right to rectify them,
  • the right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”),
  • the right to restrict processing,
  • the right to transfer data,
  • the right to object to processing.

8. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Germany: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information) if it is found that the processing of data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
